One More Thing....

You may all refer to me as Wonder Woman now.

I just packed up the nursery, Beatrice's clothes, my clothes, toiletries, food, toys, pack n play, loaded the car, cleaned the car, cleaned my house, bathed my child, bathed myself, blogged, all before bed. By myself.

A little cuddle time with the kitty and I'm hitting the sack. Tomorrow we are beach bound!! Pray for my poor brother and sister in law. They do not have kids and will be driving Beatrice and me down to meet JD. They may prolong reproducing indefinitely if she screams the whole way. Or have to listen to me sing silly songs for 7 hours.

  1. I bet she will sleep for most of it! :)
we drove 10 hours to Florida to see my parents and Aubrey slept the whole time except for the 3 times we stopped to nurse and change him.
    Good luck!

  2. Dear Ally, i stumbled upon your blog quite by chance and i really like it. I'm a first time mom too, my baby girl is 4,5 months old and it has been nice to read about some of the challenges you faced since we're in the same boat. I commend you on crying it out, i do. I read somewhere it's not for the faint of heart and that is so true. I couldn't do it. I'll give it another shot though if necessary, because i do feel it's unfair to my baby to not teach her how to self soothe.

Anyway, to cut my ramble short, i just wanted to say that some of the things you have written has really helped me see things in a different perspective. The one that really sticks out is about Michele Duggar! You are so right! So now when i feel i'm getting frustrated, i just think of that and all is well, my patience is back and i do feel like it makes me a better person.

So what i'm saying, i suppose, is thank you for writing your bloggity blog. :) And i hope your reunion was a happy one.

    All the best,

    Tadeja
