Weekend Adventure: Cliff Walk and Rocky Beach

Last weekend, I begged JD to turn off the soccer game and go walk the cliffs. He didn't want to at first, but with some coaxing, he rolled off the couch and off we went. It was such a beautiful day, we decided to walk further to the bottom. We found a secluded rocky beach.

 

We walked through the luxury resort and JD made me promise to convince my mom to stay there the next time she comes to visit just so we can lay at the 3 pools on site.

 

After checking out some lizards in the bushes and dolphins swimming, we arrived at the bottom of the trail at a secluded rocky beach.

I haven't stumbled upon too many secluded beaches in my day, but when I do, I feel like I discovered a hidden treasure. We stayed for awhile, exploring and throwing rocks into the waves.

 

 

We walked back to the top of the trail to eat lunch cliffside.

 

JD loved it. I think it has become my new happy place. We can't wait to go back. Did you adventure?
