Christmas Kickoff

This year, Christmas is so wonderful in our house. It's so full of excitement from 2 precious little girls. They love everything about the season: the lights, the tree, the shopping, everything. I am so eager to make this holiday extra special for them. I plan to do something festive and special everyday until the 25th, to make the most of the season.

It took us about 2 hours to make a few dozen cookies. Beatrice was meticulous about the rolling, cutting, and sugar placement. I let her do it all and tried my best not to take over. It was a big mess, but so worth it to hear my girl say, "this is the best, mom. Christmas is my favorite!"

The cookies weren't too bad either.
