Guess it comes from my very black or white mentality. The other night my son asked for a story about a bear, so of course I told him the one about the bear who mauled the kids that were harassing the prophet Elisha. Yeah, that didn't go so well. He cried and wondered why their parents didn't "take them out of the bears mouth" -- BUT, I hold fast to the promise that God's word does not return void!!! The first verse my son memorized was John 3:16, and it sounded so sweet coming from his lips. I'm so thankful God trusts us parents, as imperfect as we are, to raise a generation that loves Him.
